"We need an Infinite pile!", "what's an infinite pile? and how do you make one?", "Hey we want to know as well! How do you make one?!"So you have probably already heard about these things called "infinite piles" or "Inf piles". they are basically piles of resources such as: Stone, Iron/Copper/Silver/Gold ore, Granite, Clay, Sand, Snow, Forest soil, Fertile soil. However, they are concentrated in one user made area.
This is what an infinite pile looks like:
As you can see, there is a large elevated area in the centre, surrounded by flattened tiles. On the front 3 tiles you can see there is Clay, Stone and Iron Ore. When I right click any of those tiles, select terraforming and select lower ground I receive 30 of the resources. But unlike dropped resources these resources do not disappear which means they can be used over and over.
Scale of the Levels needed to make an Infinite Pile. |
- Find a good area to flatten a 3x3 area.
- Start by collecting 30 of your wanted resources: Iron Ore, Stone, Granite, Sand, Clay etc.
- Drop 30 on the tiles surrounding the centre tile. Make sure you fill all of the surrounding tiles.
- Now begin to elevate the centre tile, 2.00m higher than the surrounding tiles.
- You should now have an 3x3 area where you have a centre elevated tile and surrounding flattened tiles.
- To finish off: build a camp-fire on the centre tile and construct the camp-fire to stop the resources on the centre tile from falling.
