Weapons: Single Handed Blades

Single Handed Blades or also known as "Blades Mastery" as a skill, are very basic weapons, you probably seen from a lot of medieval/sword slashing movies that single handed blades are very favourable: this is because they are lightweight and just like the game they too, are lightweight.
In Life is Feudal, they are the simplest weapons to craft only requiring Thick Leather and Metal Bars.

However, how effective are these weapons in the game? Well, they are; depending on the stats of your character. If you have high Strength and high Agility you will swing fast and hard! These weapons also allow you to stay lightweight which means your speed when running stays high enough to catch intruders running!

Types of Single Handed Blades you can craft

Knight Sword: 
The Knight Sword is a basic straight sword with no real great damage properties. However, Blades have two forms of damage: Slashing and Piercing. Mix both of these together and you have a very versatile weapon that offers good damage and allows you to stay light.
Level needed to wield: Level 30



Light Saber: 
Before you think it: No this is not a Jedi lightsaber. This Saracen blade is similar to the Knight sword's damage properties. However apart from the obvious difference in appearance, the Light Saber is actually extremely light and arguably the lightest weapon in the game. This means you can offer a chained amount of damage without losing your breath!
Level needed to wield: Level 30



Nordic Sword: 
The Nordic sword is similar to the Knight sword in looks and damage, but, it has a secret. When you stab with the Knight sword you offer a great deal of piercing damage, but slashing isn't going to offer you much damage. This is the Nordic swords secret, it's a slashing sword and not so much a piercing sword due to its blunt tip; which means you can endlessly swing at enemies and stack slashing damage!
Level needed to wield: Level 30

Scimitar: 

The Scimitar is a mix of the Nordic swords ability to slash high damage and the Light sabers light weight ability. This sword is short but do not be fooled: It offers a great deal of damage! The scimitar is a favourite amongst a large majority of players because of its ability to use little stamina to swing at enemies! If you are going to fight someone with a Scimitar, try and keep your distance!

Level needed to wield: Level 60

Falchion: 

This is a personal favourite of mine: The Falchion is a very deadly looking sword. It only however offers Slashing damage, this is because of it's design. If you were to stab with this weapon you deal a tiny amount of piercing damage, but if you swing with this weapon: Imagine your enemies are over grown grass and your Falchion is your lawn mower, that's how this weapon works. If you have high Willpower, moderate Agility and High strength you will literally be the Server lawn mower with this sword!

Level needed to wield: Level 60

Mr Feudal Tip: Do not just use the sword by itself, add a shield for more protection against arrows and melee combat. Using the Shield Bash ability with a sword is very effective since you knock  your opponent on their backside and slash at them when they are down! Mix things up and make sure you can counter your enemies weapon choice!
