Mr Feudals still got it

So after joining a recommended server I went about the usual starting points I would normally do: Gather some materials, create some tools, level soem basic skill and get myself a little hovel.

My character is carefully set to specific levels in both Character Stats and skills. I started by:

• Giving my character my desired look and voice with little extras ( Tattoos )
• Stats (Attributes): I left all but the Willpower stat to default. I cranked my Willpower to the max to allow me more stamina and carry weight.
• Setup my Skills:
• Peaceful:
• Prospecting: 30
• Forestry: 15
• Natures Lore: 15 
• Terraforming: 30
• Farming: 15
• Offensive:
• War Horse: 30
• Malitia: 45 (default)
• Baldes Mastery: 0
• Two-Handed blades Mastery: 0
• Throwing Weaponry: 30

These are obviously not going to be like yours. but this is how I setup my character for maximum effect.

• Found an ideal location: 
• First: somewhere that holds both Softwood and Hardwood trees.
• Second: somewhere that holds some Sand
• Third: somewhere that has a clay deposit
• Fourth: somewhere that has a close Ore Vein
• Fifth: somewhere where you can access water quickly
• hint: The Lake.

This is all probably common sense, but for those who have just bought this game, it does look a little confusing. Having this small checklist allows you to freely play the game to the fullest. 

It didnt take me long to actually go about this checklist (I have been using this from day one along with my skill and stat setup) and it works, there are plenty locations that tick all the boxes here.
