Life is Feudal: MMORPG - My first Opinion
So this is my video I was talking about in the previous blog post. If you haven't sub'd to my YT channel, get subbing I upload daily or every second day.
Questions I answer in this video:
- What is the Map like?
- HUGE, IT'S HUGE. it's about 50 times the size of the current LIF: Your Own Map.
- What is the maximum Skil cap?
- 400 - With intellect on full you probably have 430.
- Will Solo players from LIF:YO be able to play this?
- If you play solo in the MMORPG, I appreciate how ballsy you are but I would highly recommend you play with a group.
- Can you instantly build a monument?
- I wish, no you need a guild setup ASAP with a minimum of 10 players in order to have the facility to even create a monument.
- Are resources available easily such as Clay, Water, Wood, Ore, Stone etc?
- To an extent yes, however Trees are very scarce in the central, west, east and southern belts of the map. The area that has most of the forest is north before the mountains. Clay is avaliable EVERYWHERE and Ore/Stone is common around hilled areas and the edges of the map.
- Are the players in the MMO mostly all experienced?
- Yes, I have only found a small % to be new to the actual game - What a way to start your experience on Life is Feudal
- What is the Skill Gain across the MMO?
- 1x... Yes you read right, you will be grinding to your demise at that rate. Probably not so bad in a large group, but any smaller groups will struggle.
- Are animals frequent across the Server?
- I have found that large groups seems to have found horses VERY EARLY on, so animals right now are rare, the only animals I have come across are 1 Elk, 1 Boar, 2 Rabbits and Grouse.
I also go into my own opinion of the game which is as follows:
The MMO at this time is not worth the money people I have found are throwing at this. The servers crash every now and then and logging in seems to be a constant problem. Experienced players are WIPING OUT new players who are trying to build in this game, that's a BIG PROBLEM. I do hope the devs develop something to try and keep large scale guilds from killing off small groups trying to become big guilds, that's not fair. I know it's "life is Feudal" that's not a motto, if Life was Feudal then you would be able to fend off idiots trying to sack your stuff.
If yu have a different opinion from me, please share it, I welcome all forms of response, negative and positive and neutral. A lot of players have already expressed their negative feedback towards this game, mainly because of the issue outlined with large guilds. Large guilds are cool, but large guilds that kill new players are the bane.
