Steel creation made easy!

As we all know, gathering flux is the most annoying hardship on life is feudal. It should be, that stuff is pretty damn valuable! Gathering it takes a lot of patience and effort as well as countless hours gather herbs and finding combos.

Now you are wondering, "How do I combine this with iron to make steel?". Well, your answer would be simple: According to the LIF wiki available at any time, you are supposed to throw 6 flux and 2 iron bars into a furnace/blacksmith/bloomery/forge and anvil and heat it right up and from the ingredients you "smelt" you receive 1 single Steel bar. Congrats! you're half way to making your first lock and 1/8 of the way to making a gate module!

This method however can be succeeded and the way to do it, will grant you 5 steel bars in the same time it takes you to make 1. Follow these steps:

1. Collect 12 flux
2. Collect 2 iron ingots
3. Throw both your Iron ingots and your 12 flux into a furnace/blacksmith/bloomery/forge and anvil
4. Wait until it is fully melted and pull out 1 Steel ingot!
Congrats you just received a steel ingot, now throw it back in! Yes you heard me, throw that ingot back into the furnace/blacksmith/bloomery/forge and anvil now.



5. Wait till it is fully melted and then auto-craft Steel bars
You just received 5 steel bars!

Using this method means that you do not half to waste half of the original flux you made for 1 single steel bar! This method allows you to make 5 bars per Steel ingot, which is very handy for large projects which need lots of door modules or Gatehouses that require at least 8 locks: Thats 16 Steel bars!
