For those who do not know what a Bardiche is. |
Anyway, I came out of the fighting harshly bleeding, but I had struck down all three foes. The odds were pitched against me and I had no chance of surviving this. The music however spurred me to fight and win! albeit they may not have been experienced in the PVP and the combat system but they had the numbers on their side!
The main reasons that I may have won and this is debatable:
- I have extensive knowledge of the weapons and the combat system coming from games such as Chivalry and Mount & Blade.
- I may have played longer giving me the advantage to know where to hit on a character to ultimately "one-shot" them.
- The music may have made the fight more intense making me want to win and want to stay alive.
- The weapon I used may have induced far greater damage than 2 swords and a mace combined.
- My strength in game was 45 at the time so My hits were almost close to death attacks on a single strike.
Regardless of these factors, I believe the music played a vital role in fighting the bandits off my land. As we all know Music changes our moods and can even make us feel stronger when we're down. For those who wanted to know the music I was listening to, It was a metal song from a band that I consistently listen to: Amon Amarth.
Some people won't like this style of music, that's why I ask when you do put music on, you listen to your favourite band/artist. Find the one song that sends goose bumps up your arm and leaves the hairs on your back standing up! Use it because it can encourage you to fight better!
Even when you aren't fighting still put your favourite track on; gathering, herb collecting and general resources gathering will become slightly less tedious due to the fact you're jamming to your favourite songs!
What's your favourite track to listen to? Leave a comment!
