Character Creation, what you need to know

Character Creation in Life is Feudal is fairly straight forward: Unless you are new this might seem a bit confusing.

Creating a new character on a server is easy, but you need to know a few things before you creat your characters. First you want to join the server and then create a new chracter, give your character a fitting name: A made up one or an RP name. Change their race, looks voice etc. But what about Attributes, Crafting and combat Skills? Let me explain:

    • Strength: This skill dictates how hard you hit a player with a tool or weapon. If you have low Strength you won't deal a lot of damage to your opposing player or animal. If you have high strength you will deal a lot of damage: fairly straight forward.
      • Strength also has the ability to dictate what weapon you can use effectively: If you have low Strength and use a heavy 2 handed weapon, your swings will be slow and clunk, whereas if you have high strength, your swing will be smooth and fast.
    • Agility: This skill dictates how fast you can move and how fast you can actually reload your bow/Crossbow/Sling or how fast you can recover from swinging a sword/spear/polearm/2 handed weapon. If you have low agility, you won't run fast and your recovery speed in combat won't be any good either.
      • Hint: Match your STRENGTH with your AGILITY: so 40 strength, 40 agility = killing machine.
    • Constitution: This skill dictates how much health you can have on your character. The higher your constitution, the longer you will go in a fight against players or animals.
      • This skill also dictates how much weight you can attach to your character, so for example: if you have low consititution and want to wear heavy plate armour, you will be slow and clunky.. If you have high constitution, then you will be able to wear that armour and run as if you aren't even wearing it.
    • Willpower: This skill will allow you to carry more items in your Inventory and also run for longer. Willpower dictates your overall stamina bar and this is very useful when it comes to both crafting and combat: the bigger a stamina bar, the more swings or arrows you can throw at a player.
      • Willpower only changes your inventory carry weight, not your player carry weight. Constitution dictates ONLY PLAYER WEIGHT and Willpower dictates ONLY INVENTORY CARRY WEIGHT
    • Intellect: This is a waste of skill, but you do with it as you please. This skill allows you to add more skill points to your character: So for exmaple if you join a 3000 skill cap server, and you have 50 points in Intellect, your character ONLY will have 3100 skill points. For every 1 skill point in Intellect, grants you +2 To your overall Skill Cap.
